Kl Rahul has been one of the most consistent youngsters India has had over the years. He has scored runs regularly in all the three formats and has become a very important memeber of the Indian batting line up. When he made his debut no one expected him to become such an important player in such a short period of time but defying all the odds he proved his worth.
He has also become a regular wicketkeeper for the team as Rishabh Pant couldn’t deliver in the batting department and he has been really good with those gloves and even after MSD’s retirement he hasn’t let Dhoni’s absence felt at the back of the wickets.
Amazing IPL performance:
This season he has been tremendous in the IPL and been the highest scorer so far in the IPL with only the final remaining.
Even though his team stumbled pretty badly in the initial stages of the competition but he stood like a lone warrior always scoring from one end even in the worse situations. He lead the team from front always and was the most valuable player of Kings XI Punjab.
Going to Australia:
He has been selected for the Australian tour in all the three formats for his top performance in the IPL and will be the vice-captain of the team in the limited overs.
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly also praised him and said that he is a young player and has a lot of time to play well in the test matches and he trusts him.
