‘I AM TOTALLY AT PEACE’ – RAVI ASHWIN ON HIS HOPES OF A WHITE-BALL RETURN

The Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin, who performed very well in the test matches, does not want a return of White Ball. He is one of the best players for Test Marches, he is so far the best match-winner for the India team in the test matches. Unfortunately, even though he players very well in the test matches, he does not get included in the T20 and ODI squad of the team.

Ashwin was recently asked about how he feels as he is not allowed to play in limited-overs but only in test matches. The player started laughing after hearing the question and said that. he was very much happy with the red ball.

The player has played more than 100 One Day International matches and around 50 T20 international matches. But in the year 2017, where he played very well in the test matches, the Indian team took another spinner for their limited-overs line-up and kept Aswin for red-ball games only.

ASHWIN IS THE BEST TEST MATCH BOWLER IN INDIAN TEAM

In the recently concluded test series between India and England which was played in India, Ravichandran Ashwin performed brilliantly as he took 32 wickets in the series and he even scored a century. The player got the Man of the Series award too. He was one of the big reasons that the Indian team won the test series against England. After he got the award, we were expecting that he will play in the limited over matches too but there is no news about that so far.

ASHWIN DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY IN THE LIMITED OVERS FORMAT

As per Ashwin, he was not at all concerned about playing in the limited-overs as he was very happy with the red ball ones. He said that many people want to get more and more in life but he got the balance and he was extremely happy with wherever he was at the time.

It looks like Ashwin has decided not to worry about the formats and he is focussing on getting better in the test matches only. The player also said that he will give his best in the ODI and T20 matches too whenever he gets the chance. He will get the chance to play in limited-overs very soon as he will be playing for the Delhi Capitals team in the Indian Premier League.

Do you think Ashish will show the same performance in limited-overs too as he shown in the test matches?
