I am representation of new India: Virat Kohli

The India’s tour of Australia till now has been much more entertaining and uncertain than most of us expected it to be. It began on 27 November with the ODI series and in the first two ODIs Australia completely dominated India as indian bowlers looked absolutely helpless being smashed all over the park. It was in the third ODI when India registered a terrific comeback and with the help of Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya registered a strong victory. After that in the T20 series India displayed some high level game and came out strong against the Aussies to win the series 2-1. Now the eyes shift towards the all-important Border Gavaskar trophy which is set to begin from 17 December.

Virat to leave after first test:

Virat Kohli will lead India in only the first test and then will leave the team to go back to his country as he and his wife Anushka Sharma expect a child in January. India will be led by Ajinkya Rahane in the rest of the 3 matches and Rohit Sharma will come in as a replacement.

Greg on Kohli:

Recently Greg Chappel of Australia said that Kohli is the most Australian non-Australian cricketer of all time and embodies the new India and he feels an abiding responsibility to the game. Responding to these comments by Greg, Kohli said that he has been like this from day one and he is the representation of the new India.
