Glenn Maxwell’s first RCB training session | RCB Bold Diaries

All the teams of the Indian Premier League are preparing hard for this season as there are just 2 days left for the tournament to start. Royal Challengers Bangalore team was also seen doing practice. It would be a very important season for the team as they never won the IPL title in past.

RCB team tried very hard in past to reach the playoffs but despite having one of the best players in the team, they somehow lost matches. There are some of the great players picked up by the franchise this year and we are hoping the team might take the trophy this time.)

Glenn Maxwell, one of the most expensive players of the Bangalore team, was seen practicing with the team recently in a video by RCB which was uploaded on YouTube. It was the first training session of Maxwell for the IPL 2021.

Maxwell is one of the most powerful players from the Australian Cricket Team. Maxwell can hit maximums in any situation and any format of the game which is the reason he became so famous. Maxwell’s ability to hit the ball and playing aggressively has attracted him in the IPL and that’s the reason he was one of the most expensive picks in the last season. Having Maxwell on the team has also increased the expectations for the Bangalore team to win the finals trophy for this year.

POOR PERFORMANCE IN LAST SEASON

In the last season of the IPL, Maxwell played for the Punjab team where his performance was very poor. He couldn’t hit even one six in the whole tournament. That’s the reason Punjab dropped him this season and RCB picked him.

About the practice, it was a net session that was conducted in Chennai. The teams have already reached Chennai ahead of the first match to be held on Friday. Along with Glenn Maxwell, New Zealand player Kyle Jamieson was also seen in the practice session.
