Gayle to be back against RCB

If there’s one player who has been the most entertaining to watch, it is none other than Chris Gayle. He has been playing IPL since the inaugural season in 2008 and has been certainly the IPL’s most loved player.

He has represented three franchises, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Kings XI Punjab.

His most memorable innings of 175 from 66 came for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in Chinnaswamy stadium where he was striking the ball so cleanly that even a double century was possible that day.

He is not a player who concentrates too much on running between the wickets; he’s a big man and deals in boundaries.

Bad season for KXIP:

It has been an offseason for KXIP who have put many efforts but the results just don’t seem to go their way. They have lost 6 matches out of 7 and haven’t yet played the star Chris Gayle as the opening pair of Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul was performing well.

Gayle recovers:

But the wait for fans is finally over as KXIP posted a video on their Twitter handle in which Gayle was seen saying that the wait was now over and the universe boss is back.

He suffered from food poisoning, hence couldn’t make his debut of IPL 2020 in the previous 2 matches.

But now as he’s back, KXIP would certainly hope that this marks the end of their hard times and they get back to winning ways.
