Ganguly Wished Dhoni To Attend 2004 Tour Of Pakistan

Sourav Ganguli the India skipper was keen to send Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the tour of Pakistan in 2004 on the national team. The smashing cricketer missed the bus by the skin of his teeth disclosed to IANS by Indian coach.

Parthiv Patel was selected for the three-Test series and the first to play opposite India after 15 years. Moreover, Rahul Dravid has taken the five One-day Internationals.

“Dhoni about to trip with us to Pakistan. Saurav was very keen to want him in the gang. He was at the dividing line and it was from those verdicts that could have gone either way. On the flip side, we have made a successful Test team and couldn’t make it.” India won the three-Test series and the five ODI series 3-2. In an interview, Wright stated to IANS to pay the wealthy accolade to Dhoni.
