Ganguly confirmed, India will play day-night test against Australia in Adelaide

India vs Australia popularly also known as the Border Gavaskar Trophy is known for creating many records over the years both ways i.e. when held in India or held in Australia.

There have been some famous bowling spells over the years along with some fabulous centuries and display of classical shots by batsmen on both sides.

Many players made their names on this tour for India like Ishant Sharma, Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, and captain Virat Kohli. Hence this trophy never fails to impress the cricket fans and is bound to produce exciting cricket over the years.

To be held in November:

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly confirmed that this year despite all the delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the series will not be delayed and would be held at the end of November with India touring Australia for 3 T20s, 3 ODIs, and 4 test matches.

He confirmed it after receiving the schedule from Cricket Australia. This will give a huge respite to all the Indian fans desperately waiting for international cricket to begin.

Pink ball test at Adelaide:

Sourav Ganguly also said that the first test would be played at Adelaide and would be a day-night pink ball test match.

Over the years many teams have played the day-night test match and it’s a great sight to see players playing in their white test dress at the night with the most beautiful pink ball.
