ENG vs SA 2nd T20I Yesterday Match Result

In the second game, South Africa came back strongly. In first-innings South Africa batters set a lofty 208-run goal for England in 20 overs, aided by the solid performances of Riley Rossouw and Reeza Hendrix.

In retaliation, England’s side, who scored 234 in the first game, was reduced to 149 runs in 16.4 overs and could not even complete an over.

England made a strong start in their pursuit of the significant objective of 208 runs. In 3.3 overs, the team had accrued 37 runs.

However, once Captain Butler was dismissed in the fourth over, the England team was unable to recover and continued to lose wickets often.

Buttler was out after 14 balls and 29 runs. Only 5 runs could be scored by Malan in 4 balls. Jason Roy failed once more. He needed 22 balls to score 20 runs.

Moeen Ali, who had a brief innings in the previous game but failed to make much of an impression, was dismissed after only hitting 28 runs in 17 balls.

In just 21 balls, Jonny Bairstow scored 30 runs. Livingstone was out after 10 balls for 18 runs.

Andile Phehlukwayo and Tabraiz Shamsi each grabbed three wickets for South Africa. Lungi Ngidi took two wickets, Rabada one, and Maharaj one.

Earlier, the South African squad had a strong start after choosing to bat first after losing the toss.

At 39, the first wicket was lost. De Kock was removed from the game after scoring 15 runs in 11 balls.

After that, though, Rilee Rossouw and Reeza Hendricks took control of the batting and used a fantastic half-century partnership for the second wicket to assist the team to a substantial total.

Riza was out for 53 runs in 32 balls at the same time. Rossouw, however, managed to hold the other end and kept making powerful strokes.

He came back undefeated after facing 96 balls. He smashed 10 fours and five sixes over his innings.

In just 10 balls, Klaasen scored 19 runs. Stubbs, who had a stellar performance in the previous game, scored 15 runs in only 12 balls.

For England, Moeen Ali, Richard Gleason, and Chris Jordan each took one wicket. On Sunday, the decisive third and final game between these two will be played.
