Delhi Capitals: Covid-19 Rumbles Over As Net Bowler Tests Positive

In the midst of the thrill of IPL 2022, once again the crisis of Corona started looming over Delhi Capitals. In fact, once again on Sunday, one of his players has been found to be Corona positive. After which once again the whole team had to be isolated. By the way, the franchise or BCCI has not given official information regarding this.

Net Bowler Test Corona Positive

The effect of Corona is being increasingly seen among the players of Delhi Capitals. Recently, the players and support staff of the same team were found to be Corona positive, after which they were immediately sent for isolation. Once again Corona has knocked on the door of Delhi Capitals and this time has made a net bowler its victim.

Let us tell you that in the second match of the double-header match on Sunday, Delhi Capitals is going to face Chennai Super Kings and on the first Sunday morning of the same match, the net bowler was found to be Corona positive in the test. After which all the players of the team have been isolated in the hotel room itself.

Corona’s Shadow Again Hovers Over Delhi Capitals

In the middle of IPL 2022, Delhi Capitals had a crisis of Corona in the season itself, which had hit physio Patrick Farhart, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and wicketkeeper Tim Seifert, besides three members of the support staff. After which the match in Pune was transferred to Mumbai.

This time the net bowler of Delhi Capitals has become Corona positive. But BCCI has not made any announcement on this yet, but sources related to the teams said that they are not expecting any change in the team’s schedule.

After this news, a CSK official said-

“We understand that this match will be played. Otherwise we would have been informed by now. He was just a net bowler and all the players were in their hotel rooms. So we are not expecting any change of any kind.”

Let us tell you that Delhi Capitals have played their 10 matches so far this season in which they have won 5 and lost 5. In the points table, Delhi Capitals remain at the fifth position with 10 points.
