The second half of the Indian Premier League 2021 season will have a live audience in the United Arab Emirates. The remaining matches of the IPL 2021 season is being planned to be played in September and October 2021. The UAE government has said that the crowds will be allowed only if they are vaccinated.
More than half the population of the UAE has been vaccinated. The BCCI and the Cricket board in the UAE will not have any problems to the host of the remaining 31 matches if the UAE government imposes specific rules.
The fans who are vaccinated are allowed in the stadium. But the UAE board also that not more than 50 percent of the crowds will be taken during the live IPL matches. The vice president of the BCCI, Rajiv Shukla, has said that they will resume the IPL 2021 in the United Arab Emirates. The cash-rich league tournament will start on 19th September, and the final of this edition will be played on 10th October 2021.
The UAE officials will not have any problems in hosting the IPL 2021 season. But they will have to find ways to host the men’s World T20 before the ICC gives their verdict.
The BCCI has also said that they will announce the schedule and the other details of the remaining matches of the IPL 2021 season. They will play the second half of the season in the UAE because of the monsoon season in India during September and October.
