Cricket’s most INSANE 12 balls as Pollard crushes hat-trick hero for SIX SIXES in all-time meltdown

Sometimes, things work out well in life and get so bad right the next moment. The same happened with a Sri Lankan bowler who performed well in his first over and gets destroyed in his second.

It was a match against West Indies in which Sri Lankan bowler Akila Dhananjaya took a hat-trick in his first over in a T20 International match where he took back-to-back three wickets of Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, and Evin Lewis. Dhananjaya was playing after one and half years and came with a complete bang as he took a hat-trick after such a long break.

However, the happiness didn’t last for long as another West Indies player Kieron Pollard was there to destroy him. Pollard hit six sixes in six balls of Dhananjaya and made people forget his hat-trick. It was a very bad moment for the bowler too as a player hit the maximums six times in an over.

By hitting six sixes in six balls, Pillars has become the third player in the world to do so in International Cricket. The other two players to hit six sixes in six balls are former South African player Herschelle Gibbs and Indian player Yuvraj Singh.

There are very few players in cricket history who got disappointed even after taking a hat-trick as they got destroyed very badly, unfortunately, Dhananjaya is one of them.

West Indies won the match as pollard made 38 out of 11 balls and teams chased the target of 132 runs. The match was played at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. It was a very expensive over for Dhananjaya and there only two players in the history of Sri Lanka cricket who gave so many runs in their bowling.

Talking about the sixes, when pollard was asked about it, he said that he hit three sixes in a row and then he felt like he can hit another three, he got so confident that he destroyed the bowler.

Another Sri Lankan player Angelo Mathews said that he knew Pollard would hit, he already told Akila Dhananjaya to keep trying to take his wicket even if he keeps hitting six after six, he might miscalculate one shot and they will take him out. Unfortunately, he didn’t get out that easily.

Pollards has become the eighth man in the world to hit six sixes in an over. It was a great match and Dhananjaya also did well in the initial overs. Unfortunately, things got out of hand in the second one.
