Cricket Australia has posted a video from a match of 2016 played between South Africa and Australia which shows a run-out performed by South Africa’s Temba Bavuma to get rid of David Warner. CA has raised a question on the runout if it was the greatest run-out ever by Bavuma.

We are talking about the test match played between South Africa and Australia at Perth in 2016. In this match, Bavuma showed his fielding skill and with an outstanding run-out, he sent Warner in the dug-out.

Cricket Australia has shared a video reliving the moment of magic from the South African Bavuma. In the caption, CA asked to take suggestions ‘Greatest Run-out ever?’. Some people agreed to the fact and some just praised the catch. Some felt that run out from Pat Cummins to send Cheteswar Pujara was a better effort on the field. The fans were founded divided on this topic.

Bavuma’s run out came in the important phase of the game and proved as an impactful wicket of David Warner. South Africa was batting first after winning the toss in the first match but in some time the guests found themselves at 32 for four down. Then, with some partnerships, they manage to reach 242. 

Australia replied to the South African bowlers with a backfire. David Warner scored 97 runs in the first innings. However, thanks to Kagiso Rabada and Vernon Philander with a bit of help from Keshav Maharaj too, Australia after a great start bowled out on 244 runs with just a lead of two runs.

In the second innings, South African batsman fell devastatingly on the Australian bowlers and put a mammoth of 540 runs on the board. Australia started with a bang again. In form batsman, David Warner was looking dangerous. He had hit 35 runs in just 32 balls then came to the brilliance from Bavuma to get the big fish.

Despite half-centuries from Usman Khawaja and Peter Nevill, South Africa managed to win the first test by 177 runs after bowling out the host on a total of 361 runs.
