BOND SAYS IT IS GOOD THAT BOULT DOES NOT GET TO PLAY T20s!!

Trent Boult, New Zealand Cricketer (Bowler), who was a part of the winning team Mumbai Indians (MI) was crowned Man of The Match and given a cheque of 5 lakh INR along with CRED Power Player of The Season and a trophy and INR 10 lakh. He has taken a handsome number of 25 wickets in the IPL 2020 in 15 matches. 

Trent, last week, left for New Zealand after finishing IPL and is now in quarantine accompanied by Shane Bond in the city Christchurch.

It is good for Boult as he has a Family!!

Shane Bond recently said in a telephonic conference call that it is a good thing that Boult is left out of the T20 matches. The reason behind it is Boult has come to his country after about two months as he was playing IPL which started on 19 September 2020. Since he also has a family; he deserves to spend some quality time with his family after playing so long and beautifully.

In addition to this, New Zealand is also ready for hosting the West Indies. The West Indies Team has arrived in New Zealand last week for the tour which will comprise of 3 T20 Internationals and two Test matches. 

The last test match played by Trent Boult was on the 29th of February 2020 against India and the last T20 International almost a year ago on November 10th, 2019.

It has been a while since Trent played a long-form match, Shane wants him to get the ducks in a row for the approaching test match against West Indies. Also, Kane Williamson, the captain of the cricket team of New Zealand stated that he wants the players, such as Kyle Jamieson to take the opportunity in the T20 Internationals with Windies. 

Bond adds that for Trent it is vitally important to re-charge himself before he faces West Indies. Shane also helped him at the practice center far from Christchurch in his training times.

Conclusion

Trent Alexander Boult is an amazing and tremendous player. Following the Indian Premier League, he has been preparing for the test series. Agreed, that cricket is the passion of Boult but any man who does struggle, he does for fulfilling the dreams of his family, and no doubt that this is also a way to serve his nation. Being with his loved ones would boost him and give a steady kick start for further games.
