Five Big Players Who Could Miss The Second Phase Of The IPL 2021 Season In The United Arab Emirates

The second half of the Indian Premier League 2021 season might again go to the United Arab Emirates. The BCCI plans to host the tournament from 15th September to 15th October 2021, and there will be 31 matches played during this period.

But due to the hectic and busy International calendar of the International teams, the BCCI will be in a dilemma. The foreign players add the spice in the tournament like IPL. Without them, the cash-rich league tournament will not have that fun and entertainment.

On the other hand, if the IPL is played just between the Indian players, it will be like a domestic tournament, and the viewers will also take their focus away from this league tournament. The IPL is so successful globally because of the overseas players, who play a huge role for every franchise in this grand event.

There are only four overseas players allowed to participate in the playing eleven of this tournament. But those four players provide significant importance to their franchises and teams. The four overseas players make a perfect balance, and many times, they become an unbeatable team in this tournament.

Today we shall let our IPL fans and viewers know about the top five players who will miss the second half of the IPL 2021 season, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates once again. Last year, the whole IPL 2020 season was played in the UAE, and the IPL 2014 season and the first half of the tournament were played in that country, and the latter part was completed in India.

Trent Boult – The Kiwi pace bowler holds an important position in the camp of Mumbai Indians. MI has won five titles in this tournament so far. That is because of the performance of their overseas players. Boult has been a spearhead of the MI bowling unit, and he is just the right kind of bowler for the Blues who can support Bumrah in the powerplay and the final overs.

It will be a big blow for MI if they miss the services of Trent Boult. MI needs wickets at the top order, and if Boyult is not there, then it would be an added pressure on Bumrah. In the first half of the IPL 2021 season, Boult had already picked up eight wickets for his franchise.

Eoin Morgan – What will Kolkata Knight Riders do if their skipper Eoin Morgan is not available for the latter half of the tournament? It would be a huge blow for the Purple Army, and that need to think about other sources or go back to Dinesh Karthik as their captain for the second half of the tournament.

Karthik was the captain of KKR before Morgan took charge. But now, the absence of Morgan will hurt KKR more because they will miss Morgan as a captain and as a middle-order batsman.

Kane Williamson – The current Kiwi captain and Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kane Williamson is a pillar for the Orange Army. Williamson’s presence in the middle order provides calmness for Hyderabad, and he was appointed as the captain again after the SRH management decided to remove Warner from the team and the captaincy.

If Williamson is not available for the second half of the IPL 2021 season, it would be a great blow because, without Williamson, the SRH team is like fish without water. Williamson will be leading the Blackcaps side for the T20Is and ODIs series against Pakistan when IPL is scheduled to be played.

Rashid Khan – The ace spinner of the Sunrisers Hyderabad Team is the only bowler who has got the breakthroughs for his orange side. Rashid Khan is the bowler who has not done anything wrong for his team in the cash-rich tournament till now.

If Warner and Williamson are not available, then SRH might think to make Rashid Khan their captain. But if he is also not available, the side will struggle because Rashid has only been the impactful player for the SRH side in the first half of this IPL 14th edition.

He has picked up wickets when it is needed the most. In this season, Rashid has picked ten wickets in seven matches. Khan is the leading wicket-taker, and SRH will need him in the side at any cost.

Mustafizur Rahman – The Bangla pace bowler, was the spearhead of the pace attack of Sunrisers Hyderabad when they won their title in IPL 2016 season, and Fizz is the same for Rajasthan Royals in this IPL 2021 season.

The Double R’s side has lost many players during the first half of the season, and due to their misfortunes, they will continue to lose players in the second half. With Archer, Stokes, Buttler, and Mustafizur will also not play for RR in this remaining season.

The players from England Bangladesh will be busy playing the series during that period. The absence of Fizz is a big blow as RR will not have a lead pace bowler on their side. Rahman had picked up eight wickets in seven matches in the first half of this cash-rich league tournament season.
