Bangladesh restart negotiations with Sri Lanka for postponed cricket tour

Bangladesh have shown great progress over the years in international cricket adn proved that even a country with poor infrastructure for cricket can achieve big if they have the will. They have won the Asia Cup, defeating big teams like India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka multiple times. Their most successful captain in recent times has been Mashrafe Mortaza who led the team to many new heights despite unfavorable conditions. 

Sri lanka developing slowly:

Sri Lanka has been going through a phase of redevelopment as they have badly struggled ever since their senior players like Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara left. They have got young talent which needs to perform at big stages and win matches in order to build a belief in their team.

Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh to be held soon:

Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh was scheduled to be held in July and August this year but due the corona virus pandemic, the conditions were not favourable for the tour hence it was called off. Bangladesh cricket board and Sri Lanka cricket board have resumed negotiation to make sure that the tour takes place soon and players get a chance to compete.
