England and Australia’s 1st ODI match was a very good start for the Australian team. England’s score was 275/9 in 50 over and Australia’s score was 294/9 in 50 over. With a win of 19 runs, Australia could able to record their first CWC Super League Points.

The match took place in Old Trafford last Friday where England Captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and they chose to bowl against Australia.
The way Australia started the game put everyone in doubt with a score of 123/5. But the partnership of Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh made a total 126 runs which lead the match up to a great extent.
It was visible that England misses their star cricketer Steve Smith who was not present in the 1st ODI due to suffering from a blow during a training session on Thursday.
During the batting of England JM Bairstow was trying to keep the match going and could able to score 84 runs. After 5 run outs England batsman SW Billings able to pick the game and could able to manage to make 118 Runs and able to make a total of 230 runs.
Australian Bowlers Josh Hazelwood and Adam Zampa also did their best by taking 7 wickets between them. Josh Hazelwood won man of the match in 1st ODI. It was a tough match for England because Australia tried to put pressure on England from the beginning.
Still, England tried to cope up with the same rate at the end lost the game to Australia. England was very much confident with their opener Jason Roy and Joe Root. But Josh Hazelwood dismissed both the cricketer and kept pressure on England’s batsman.
2nd ODI took yesterday where England won the match with Australia by 24 runs. Now the ODI reached a tie. Both the teams will be playing their 3rd ODI on Wednesday 16th Sep.
