Over the years cricket has given us many records and many legends to remember, some of them completely transformed their field and gave it a new definition. Their contribution to this game will always be remembered and generations to come will always take inspiration from them and learn from their game.

The way Sir Don Bradman batted, he is till date remembered as the most consistent cricket batsmen that the cricketing world has ever witnessed. Having an average of more than 99 is not anyone’s cup of tea. But Sir Bradman was a different batsman whom opposition feared as when he came to bat everyone knew that he won’t depart on a low score. He is an inspiration for everyone who has played cricket.

The Australian great and current coach of the Australian team Justin Langer turned author with his first book ‘Cricket-The Aussie way’. Talking about the book, Langer said he was inspired by Sir Don Bradman’s advice more than two decades ago, revealing a letter he wrote to him. Back in 1994 when he was 23 and had already earned the Australian jersey and was ready to represent the National side, Langer had written to the cricket great Sir Don Bradman for advice on playing cricket.

Sir Bradman’s reply:

Bradman replied by saying “You flatter me by suggesting that an old octogenarian like me can help with your cricket.” However at the end when Bradman turned old he wrote a book named “The Art of Cricket” which turned out to be a coaching manual for players all around the globe.

  1. If you want to identify a reputable service through evaluations, use these methods when writing an essay about books. If you want the greatest possible service, it’s important to take your time choosing a selection and conduct your homework.

  2. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get setup?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% sure. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
