Ageing Afridi Wants To Be A ‘Superman For Youngsters’ After LPL Blitz!!

All of you know about the achievements of Pakistan’s legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi and recently the Boom-Boom international player, shows his desire to be a ‘superman for youngsters’ in a post-match interview of LPL!

Every young cricketer must have an idol in their life that they want to be, like some players wants to be like honourable Sachin Tendulkar or Kapil Dev!

Similarly, Shahid Afridi as being an experienced and super talented cricketer wanted to teach every major and minor details about playing to the younger ones.

He revealed his desire of being a coach on Friday, after his stunning knock for the Galle Gladiators franchise in Lanka Premiere League!

So, lets investigate more guys!

On the Friday’s match against Jaffna Stallions, he scored 58 runs off just 23 balls in which six maximums and three fours are included. But, the 40-year-old wanted to do more hard work in order to inspire youngsters. 

In the interview, he told newcomers about the hard work they need to do, to win the competition. Simply, more passionate you are, more hard work you have to do. 

He welcomes all the youngsters and also enhancing his own batting and bowling skills more for the up comers! Honestly, he seems full of confidence and energy.  

According to him, the player must give his 100% in the ground, try his level best. 

Afridi, also congratulated Sri Lanka to conduct LPL, which is the best opportunity for the youngsters to grab and will provide key players for Sri Lanka in future. Because of this LPL, they will definitely found around two to three players that can form the spinal cord of their nation!

As the more opportunities a player get, the better player he will become.

So, let’s see how will ageing Afridi train and inspire the youngsters while sharping his own bating and bowling skills!
