2 South African Cricket Players Tested Positive for Coronavirus

International cricket is now slowly crashing the crease again in different countries of the world. The Caribbean Premier League has started, and soon the bugle of the IPL is going to take place; on the other hand, cricket players continue to get hit by the coronavirus. 

A piece of big news has been reported from the South African team’s camp, where two players have tested positive for coronavirus.

2 players found Corona positive

According to ESPN Cricinfo, the South Africa Cricket Board had conducted everyone’s corona test before the ongoing team camp in Sukukja, in which two players were found positive. Cricket South Africa had conducted 50 Tests on the players and support staff, out of which two players were found to be suffering from Corona.

The two players who have been found Corona positive have been kept in isolation and have not been able to come to the camp. This camp has been given by the South African Cricket Board, given the precautions to be taken during the game and avoid coronavirus for its players.

Players who could not join this camp will be told about it through a virtual medium. According to reports, former captain Faf Duplessis and Theunis de Brune did not attend this camp. Duplessis became a father for the second time, and De Bruyne could not participate due to family reasons.

South African fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada, Keegan Peterson, Keshav Maharaj, Kayal Vireyen, Lungi Engidi, Peter Malan, Pete van Biljon, Quinton de Kock, Rasi van der Dusan, Reeja Hendricks, Rudy Second, Senuram Muthas, Sisanda Magala, Tabrez Shamsi, Tenba Bawuma, Juban Hamza are also part of this camp.
